Here are all the 120 Hz-enabled games you can play on the Razer Phone (Updated)

  • One of the standout features of the Razer Phone is its high refresh rate 120 Hz display.
  • Most Android apps and games don’t support a higher refresh rate, so Razer is listing the ones that do.
  • There are some well-known names on the list, like Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and Asphalt 8.

One of the most insane features of the new Razer Phone is the 120 Hz display. Razer included the high refresh display to entice gamers to choose its device instead of other options. But, there aren’t a lot of apps and games out there that support a 120 Hz refresh rate. So, what good is picking up the phone if you can’t really use that awesome display?

To help sway new potential customers and inform current owners, Razer posted a list of 120 Hz-enabled games on its site. The list contains almost 50 titles, with recognizable names including Pokemon Go, Minecraft, World of Tanks, and Modern Combat.

Update (01/08): Razer has just updated its list of 120Hz-supported games, as pointed out by Android PoliceThe new list adds more titles, but Razer says others may be removed as it continues to be updated. The Razer Phone might be known for its display, but it has other great specs too. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor runs the show, much like all the other Android flagships of 2017. What makes the Razer Phone special was the heat dissipation that Razer’s engineers were able to pull off, allowing the processor to run cooler and faster.

The phone also has 8 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and a massive 4,000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, there is no headphone jack on the Razer Phone, but it does include a USB Type-C adapter that contains a 24-Bit THX Certified DAC inside for a better audio experience. And speaking of audio experience, those two front-firing speakers are impossible to ignore.
